Owing to risky areas, especially along borders with Kosovo, we cannot recommend Albania as a suitable country for individual travelling. Some areas were not investigated, there exists even a danger of wild animals attacks.

Nevertheless, Albania does its best for quality improvement of beaches. New holiday resorts are being built. The state tries to make best conditions for free-time use for tourists.

As to holiday resorts: there are to be recommended the environs of Durres (Adriatic Sea) and riviera between Vlora and Saranda (Ionic Sea).
