Safety situation

Antigua and Barbuda is relatively safe territory. Nevertheless, we wish to recommend you to: pay attention for pickpockets! All subjects, let without any supervision in the beach, could be as pilferage object. So, we wish to recommend you, do not walk along desert beaches after dusk.

The traffic in islands is arranged on left side of the road. The quality of communications is in relatively good stage. However, the motor vehicles driving in the islands, are in very bad technical stage (signal lights or brake lights are frequently out of order!).

Drugs´ smuggling and drugs´ keeping is punished with very severe penalties, including possible taking into prison and a fine.

In saison period - since June till November - increased danger of hurricanes could appear.
