Except duty vaccination against yellow fever, we wish to recommend you to get the vaccination against virus jaundice (hepatitide) A,B, menigitide, tetanus or typhoid. Regarding actual safe situation, we wish to contact, before your leaving, the respective Embassy Office of Czech Republic. Nevertheless, we wish to recommend you not to go out without a guide after dusk. The taxis or moto-taxis are reliable. You can walk on foot through capital Cotonou even in the night. (Nevertheless, the criminality exist even in this country). As far as the recommended hotels are concerned, they are as follows: Sheraton, Novotel, Croix du Sud. All are 5 kms distant from the airport. In hotels, you can find taxi-informative prices.
