SAFETY RULES IN BOTSWANA
Owing to rather great distances among separate inhabitated seats, it is necessary, when travelling by car, to take with a stock of drinking water and fuels. In Botswana, the traffic is effected on left part of the road.
From hygienic reasons, it is not recommended to drink the water from water-conduits, the same measure is valid in the following cases: do not bath in stagnants – danger of bilharsia or attacks from part of crocodiles or hippopotamuses. So, we wish to recommend you the vaccination against yellow fever, tetanus, hepatitide A and B. You are requested to be equipped with anti-malaria medicins as well as repelent (sprays), if you wish to visit the environs of Francistown. Attention against appearance of hydrophobia or sleepy sickness! The security police of healing expences is therefore highly recommended.
