Fountain, which has become unique in Europe, designed by the genius of Czech science František Křižík, and together with the Industrial Palace, his work became the embodiment of the spirit of the times during Earth's Jubilee Exhibition.

Fountain, that you can see today, it is the result of reconstruction in the 90 the 20th century. Pool size is 25 x 45 meters and the water supply is responsible for more than two kilometres long stainless steel pipe. Unprecedented spectacle makes a large number of water circuits, which controls the pump 49, nearly 3,000 jets and 1,248 underwater reflectors. 55 electro-acoustic sound sources provided. An adjacent amphitheater has 6000 seats. There were also a modern technique that ensures image projection, for example, a water curtain, film projection on the water surface or laser effects.
Night Fountain offers a variety of performances, including ballet, for example (you can come see for example the Nutcracker or Swan Lake), water performance (Slavonic Dances by Dvorak, Smetana's My Country, as well as more modern works such as film music of the 20th century, Lady Gaga etc .).
At the bottom part you can find Křižík´s pavilions. There are four buildings used for various purposes such as exhibitions, sporting or social events.
The exhibition grounds are also a small sports hall, which is also used for cultural events, film or television shoot in the winter season is used for public skating, ice hockey training for or figure skating.
At the Exhibition you should not miss the famous skyline Marold, which nechází in a circular building in 1908. Building walls are decorated with a panoramic picture of the last battle of Lipan Hussites. The picture painted by Ludek Marold in the years 1897 - 1898 in collaboration with Vaclav Jansa, Karel Raska, Karel Štapfer, Theodore Hilšer and Ludvík Vacátko. Although the work was completed in 1898 on the occasion of the exhibition of architecture and engineering, but it was opened at end of May 1934 in the five hundredth anniversary of the day of battle. After the floods of 2002 the building underwent renovation since 2004 and it is open to the public again.
In the lower part of the area is also a highly visible pyramid or GoJa Music Hall, designed by architect Josef Matyáš. The building consists of a steel structure, which it rises to approximately 40 meters. The Pyramid is nowadays mainly musical performances take place today and in it you can see the musical based on the famous novel by Victor Hugo - Les Miserables.
