There are many resorts situated around the beach such as Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort. Sunsets in Borneo are amazing as sun seems much larger than anywhere in the world here. When the sun sets it lits the skies with immesurable number of colors. Before the sundown, dozens of people stand on the beach to take pictures.

The beach is free to enter. However, you have to be careful of jellyfish. You don't want to leave Borneo with a memory of close encounters with them. You may make your waiting for the sunset more pleasant by buying some groceries. Vendors usually close late into the night. Try coconut or a juise from sugar cane, or chicken or beef satay, or corn. Maybe you will like a dinner from sea fruits at some beach restaurant.
