The Politics

Czech Republic is establishing to its rich historical tradition of  Bohemian Crown Kingdom, especially to the democracy heritage of the period 1918-1938. Czechoslovakia was one of the most developed countries at this time. The Czechoslovak Republic became the Isle of Democracy and Civil Freedom in Central Europe as well as the active partner of international cooperation between democratic states at that time.

 

Geography

Czech Republic is an inland country situated in the Central Europe. We can tell  that this country is in the heart of Europe – in the human body the heart is not placed exactly in the centre.

In Czech Republic you meet  Public TV and Radio Stations. Except of these there are also operating on the market the private commercial TV and radio stations, newspapers and magazines. These media are doing thein best for presenting their objectivity and counterbalance. The TV studios in Czech Republic are producing the pieces of own production, such as serials, films and  documents of high level.
