The citizens of Czech Republic can travel to Republic of Ireland on base of valid passport or personal identity card, equipped with readable zone,with unseparated marked part. The documents would be valid at least for time period of assumed stay on territory of Ireland. The citizens, younger than 15 years of age, can leave the territory of Czech Republic with its own travel document. Without passport, this persons could travel with his parents only, where their name is registered (written). Anyway, we draw your attention to the fact that, since 1st September 2006, the children, younger than 15 years of age, could not be registered in passport of their parents any more. Personal identity card serves as travel document for his holder only. So, if the parents travel together with a child, younger than 15 years of age, there is advisable, when the child could posses his own passport,too, even in such case that the child would be registered in identity card of his parents. In case ,when the respective travel document is lost: it is necessary to contact the nearest Embassy of Czech Republic. The Consolate Office issues the supplementary travel document, serving as document for single one way route to Czech Republic.
