The citizens of Czech Republic can enter and stay in the territory of the other Member States of European Union without special restrictions, on base of valid travelling document. As travelling document, also identity card with readable data could be applicated.

According to declaration of Interior Ministry of Czech Republic, the personal identity card is a document valid for document holder only. So, the Ministry does not recommend that the citizen of Czech Republic, younger than 15 years of age, travelling together with their parents, being registered in their identity card, could travel not having his own travel document, on base of this note in identity card of their parents.

Car drivers are recommended to present  their driving licence, car - technical card and green card. At transportation of dogs and cats, there is necessary to have available also travelling document for these small animals, too, where the certification, vaccination against hydrophobia was made. The vaccination has to be done 20 days before entry into Italy at least, and not being older than 11months.
