Safety
The individual tourist journeys to Leban are not too diffused for the time being. Public transport, public phone stands (boxes), information centres and descriptions of local places of interest, all these do not exist. The respective bus connection could be used for journeys to Syria only. The costs for accommodation, boarding or car lease are rather high (on West European level).
For transfer, there are used mostly taxi.cars or collected service taxis. Provided you travel by motor vehicle, we wish to recommend you to let issue International Customs Document (Carnet de Passage en Douane, so called Tryptique).
Regarding the currency: US dollars are accepted everywhere, it is not necessary to change it for local currency. The travelling throughout most of Leban territory is free, without problems.
