Locality type: Castles

First notice about this castle is of 1267. At that time, it was in possession of Bores of Riesenburg. After his death, this place lost its importance, and during era of King Wenceslas II.  the castle ceased to exist. However, the archaeological investigations are unable to specify the way of life in the castle. The rests of this castle are to be found on low and long headland above small river of Třebůvka. The piece of ground is overgrown with high trees and dense younger copse. The ditches are even six metres deep and are comparatively quite well preserved. On northeast, there is placed quite extent barbican, divided with ditch and mound. On southwest, there are preserved unclear rests of buldings, damaged often by inundated Třebůvka river. The investigations, enabling and confirming news of 1826, regarding walling rests, were not effected up to now.
