Borkovice peatbogs
Our excursion could be started in a distance of 1 km from the village of Borkovice, in north direction. Immediately, at the beginning of this route, there is to be found a box with printed 
guide-books, you can lease it, and after finish of the excursion, you can return it back into the box. So, there were mining of peats on these places in past. Mining machines, where the peatbog was excavated, can be seen on way. You find several tables with numbers, informing you of some important plant of peatbog. Detailed information could be found in printed guide-book you have available. We have to remind you that you are situated in National Nature Reservation Borkovice Blata (Peatbogs), so it is absolutely forbidden to pick the plants. On this route, you can visit view tower. Our excursion is to be finished on the same place where it was started. You follow 30 stops alltogether. On each stop, you receive more information about peatbogs, plants and other places of interest along the path. This route is designed for foot-passengers. As far as cyclists are concerned, there is allowed to drive along certain sections only.
