Our excursion could be started on square of the town of Česká Skalice. You drive, following blue cycloroute No.4018, passing Old school building and Božena Němcová Museum, through valley, passing hunting pavillon up to narrow road. However, it is not allowed to reach directly to Ratibořice Castle, so you have to go to the left up to parking place, and continue ahead on foot. After sightseeing a castle, you will continue straight ahead, turning away to the right to Panský hostinec (Mansion Pub) and Grandmother Statue. You follow the same route, passing Staré Bělidlo House and Viktorka Flood-gate, via White and Red Bridges, up to Slatina Mill. From here, you turn away, below road bridge, following Úpa-river. You follow cycloroute markings, along water stream, passing Jindra Pond, ruin of Vizmburk Castle, crossroad „Nine Crosses“, and quickly drop to the town of Červený Kostelec. You drive throughout the town and arrive to Brodský Pond.
From here, you reach the road, following cycloroute No.4095, and behind Kouřim, you turn in right direction to the community of Řešetova Lhota, and you drive to Třtice, in direction to the community of Studice. You need to reach the community of Zlič, pass Božena Němcová statue and arrive back to the town of Česká Skalice.
