Bludov Spa - Czech republic
Bludov Spa
Bludov Spa is placed below slopes of Jeseníky Mountains, not far distant from the town of Šumperk, Olomouc region, in an altitude of 297 metres above sea level. The existence of thermal springs is proved by findings of rests of walling basin, belonging to 16th century, from historical point of view. First balneology saison was started in June 1929, when „Radioactive Sulphur Spa Bath-building“ was open. Four years later, hydrogeological investigation was effected. On base of this, there was made drilling of rich spring of thermal water from the depth of 83 metres. From this boring, weakly mineralzed, nature and strong alcalic water, of 30° C temperature was springing up, containing sulphuretted hydrogen, chloride sodium, fluor and radon. All these components are being used in procedures for healing of moving apparatus, matter changes as well as urological troubles. Modern balneology equipment has available full arranged rehabilitation as well as detoxication centres.
Preserved country area of Jeseníky Mountains offers to visitors many tourist targets. They can admire surrounding beauties of local nature, people´s architecture as well as historical monuments.
