This park is situated in the area of historical parks (such as Cibulka Park), gardens and estates in section of Motol and Košíře Valleys. Except of this, a part of this park is formed by Motol Crematorium with a cemetery, Motol Ponds and golf play ground.
The park was declared as preserved area in 1991. Vidoule Table Hill (extent 354 ha) forms a dominante. Yellow marked tourist trail leads from Šmukýřka Estate along Vidoule hill-side.
