Voděrady Beach - Grove
This locality is situated between communities of Svojetice, Struhařov, Černé Voděrady and Jevany. It is just ideal place for long walks, but also suitable for cyclists. The locality is extended inside Voděrady Beech Grove protected reservation. You can find here small brooks with wells, and also some ponds, where you can take the bath. In forests, you cannot miss oaks, 300 hundred years old at least, and larch-trees, 40 metres high. Even former quarry of Kamenka, from where basic stone for National Theatre Building was transported, is to be found here.
This nature reservation makes 658 ha. You find here beautiful forest, system of seven ponds, and several cottages and chalets. During winter saison, the snow is covered in the country, so, the area is suitable for ski-runners.
