Karlova Studánka Spa
Karlova Studánka Spa is situated below the second highest point of Czech Republic - Praděd(1492 m) in an altitude of 800 metres above sea level, in nature of of forests of Jeseníky Mountains, Moravia-Silesia Region. The history of this spa comes to 17th century, when local mineral springs started to be used for treatment purposes. Several weakly mineral springs well up (Maxmillian, William, Anthony springs), with contents of carbonate, calcium, acide carbonic and silicate. These springs are suitable for carbonic baths, peaty beds, inhalation as well as for internal use. The stay in spa is recommended at treatment of respiratory troubles, onkological or vein diseases. The visitors have available wellness centre with basin and salted water (34° C).
