Demanova Ice Cave is situated in National Nature Reservation Demanovska Valley in Žilina region. This area forms a part of Low Tatra National Park. Its length makes 975 metres, 650 metres are open for public. However, the notes, regarding cave discovery, are unknown, first written notice come from documents dd. 5th December 1299. Guided tour circle was reconstructed and open for public again in 1952. Formation of ice-decoration is estimated for last 500 years.
Elements of decoration: forms of permanent ice-panel on walls, ceilings and bottom, ice pillars, stalactites and stalagmites.
