The highest peak of Dachstein is called Hoher Dachstein. It is a massive mountain rising to 2 995 m. You can find it above sleep southern slopes. You can reach the glacier are below the summit either by walking from the northwest (usually from Adamek Hütte and Simony Hütte). You will go along ferratas along the southern slope. Or you can take the Südwandbahn cable car (as we mentioned in our previous articles).

Its mountains are more covered of grass. Barance mountain (2 185 m) is a popular locality by tourists. This mountain is situated in the south of this mountain ridge.

Before we get to Asuncion we need to ride through Gran Chaco which spans across Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. It covers most part of Paraguayan north where most of the war with Bolivia took place in the 1930s. Paraguay won it. The reason for the wall was that both parties mistakenly believed to hold oil resources. Today it is just empy wasteland covered of grass and trees.
