SK, Bratislava Castle - Monumental Legend above the Danube
heading (paragraph): Others
Published: 5.2.2016

In 2010, a vast renovation was undertaken at Bratislava Castle. Since then the castle has been nothing but pride. The earliest settlement traces back almost 5 thousand years into the past. It is likely the Celts and Romans also lived here. On the castle grounds you can imagine how it must have looked like here when Maria Theresa spent here time there or when once opulent halls were changed into barracks. Anyway, let’s return to the present… See historical exhibitions, or take a picture with the statue of Prince Svatopluk. Last but not least you can enjoy the view of all of Bratislava.
