heading (paragraph): Towns
Published: 5.10.2018

The Hungarian town of Eger is famous for its city castle, thermal baths, baroque architecture, and the northernmost minaret of the Ottoman Empire era. The most visited is probably a Gothic castle, which occupied the Turks in the 16th century. This is why you can visit the minaret, which offers a beautiful view. After all the sights, you must visit the Szépasszonyvölgy valley, where there is a wine cellar beside the other.
