Praděd is – with its 1492m of altitude above sea level – the highest peak of Jesníky Mountains.

On its top there was built a look-out-tower in 1912, it was, however, demolished in 1959. On its place the was constructed in 1970 a TV tower (145 m of height) with a sender and look-out tower in a height of 40 m. You can observe - under favourable weather conditions - Giant Mountains and High Tatras.

The access to Praděd-top is allowed along marked tourist paths only.
