The range of Jetřebí Mountains is 17 km long. It is situated in the eastern part of Trutnov-region between the valleys of Petřkovice-brook and Metuje river. The highest peak of Žalman woth look-out-tower (739 m) offers marvellous view into wide outskirts. In the highlands are, thanks to its variety and arrangement, many suitable routes for touring and cycling, therefore many tourist as well as cycling routes are available, including several sporting grounds and halls. You can use many ski-towages as well as many arranged descend- ski and running routes. You find here many cultural and sports events, such as World and European Championship in hill-running.
