Today, we set off to see the streets of Prerov. The River Becva flows through this city of 40 thousand. It is an important traffic crossroads, and an important regional administrative center. In the photogallery, we present you its Renaissance-style chateau. Then we take a walk along historical structures, see some beautiful nooks, and admire spacious squares, and busy life of the town.

Today we will roam around in Moravia, the region of Olomouc. We visit the city of Prerov, a great place for holidaymakers and also an imporant city in the region which is only 20 kilometers from Olomouc.
Upon seeing Dolni and Zerotinovo squares, we walked down several streets and found ourselves on Horni square again. Church of St Moritz is located near to it.
Last week we started with our tour around Olomouc. We briefly told you about its history. The point of start was Horni square. The Holy Trinity column, and the town hall with a tower belong to its main landmarks.
We left Republiky sqaure for St Wenceslas Cathedral situated on Wenceslas square. The cathedral houses Roman Catholic archdiocesis of Olomouc. The grandiose Romanesque/Gothic structure has some Baroque features and rich decoration of sculptures. It is true jaded gem of the city.
The Moravian Gate geomorphological unit has many interesting nooks in nature as well as interesting towns one of which Hranice is. This town is 23 kilometers awy from Prerov. Since the Prehistory it has been an important crossroad of various roads. History and modernity are both present in this town.
Not a long time ago we enjoyed the town of Hranice. Several hours of walk later we moved on. Again, we parked our in Teplice nad Becvou, one of the most important spa areas in the Czech Republic.
During our last visit to Teplice nad Becvou, we saw the spa town, enjoyed its healing water, and made a trip to the deepest abyss in teh world - the Hranice Abyss. Yet we skipped a visit to another unique phenomenna in Europe. This one is even a national nature landmark.

After visiting the pilgrimage place Holy Hostýn we could not miss even three kilometers remote sites town Bystřice pod Hostýnem, which is famous for the production bentwood furniture. Of course the furniture is far from everything this town has to offer.
11 kilometers from Holesov, there is the village of Rymice with lures such as folk architecture.
On the western edge of the Hostyn Hills, in Kromeriz district, there is a small town of Holesov. The town is known for its early Baroque chateau and its grandiose French style park as well as for its well-known jewish community in the past.
