The Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge in German) is the a unique area in the west of the Czech Republic and beyond in Saxony, Germany. The mountain ridge is 130 km long, its highest peak, Klinovec, is 1244 meters high. The mountains were rich on natural resources, and people mined there for eight hundred years. This left the area with many sights and deep impact on nature. This is why the area aspires to be included into the Unseco's World Heritage program. Join us and see some typical nature sceneries and miners' towns.
