There is probably no more sacred country than the State of Israel and its landmarks. Most of it is mentioned in the Bible. Well, who don't know cities such as Jerusalem, Betlehem, Haifa, Jericho, Nazareth and many others. Today, many of them are Palestine National Authority. But this doesn't change the fact that their famous history attracts pilgrims from the time immemorial. However, not only landmarks make Israel special. Its also its unique nature, eternal surf of the Mediterranean Sea, sometimes almost bizarre salt formations in the Dead Sea or in massive mountains stretching across the land

This ancient fortress lies only about 3 kilometers from the southern end of the Dead Sea, on the edge of the Judean Desert. During the 1st century BC, it was built by Herod the Great. We start on Mount Sion, whose name is only another expression for the State of Israel. Early in the morning we set out on a bus from Haifa and travel to Jerusalem, a historic city where we plan to spend two nights. We stay close to the Gate of Damascus, one of the entrances to the Old Town.

A flight to Israel takes about 4 hours. Add a shy hour to that which takes you to get from Ovda airport to downtown Eilat. We attive on Thursday at 11 pm. Only at half past one am we reach the bed. Also, be careful when considering accommodation. Cheap accommodation is rather not operated legally. Therefore, arrange with owner your excat time of arrival. I reccommend you to search through rating of accommodation. Our first impression over dirty room is self-expressive.
