The Golden Circle - this is a name for three localities, which are most attractive for tourists. You can pass it within one day, even during a couple of hours, as they are situated in reasonable distance from capital Reykjavik, and tourist buses circular there regularly.

Selfoss is only a small stop on the route around the island. Nevertheless, main spine of this small town is formed with most important Iceland road No. 1, enabling to drive round Iceland (despite the fact that the road is changing to gravelled way in remote parts of the country).

Wandering along south part of Iceland in east direction, the green hills at the coasts start to be appear, accompanied by waterfalls. These are the first one which can be admired by tourists. But, do not worry, there are pleanty of waterfalls in Iceland!
