Welcome to Pompeii, a city that was the pride of the Roman Empire and finished by natural disasters...
After the eruption of Vesuvius (79 AD) the city was covered in hot ashes. Till today archaeological uncover for us excavations of developed ancient cities. We admire the temples, an amphitheater and a small theater, merchants and town houses, gardens, baths, brothels, artistic decorations (paintings, mosaics), wide paved streets and alleys with small carved characters and practiced crafts and we can feel mystery around.
