Rosice

The town of Rosice was in 15th century a servitude town, later a small town and in 1907 declared as a town by Emperor Franz Joseph I., and an escutcheon was granted. In past, Rosice was a mining town, in its surroundings live more than 30000 inhabitants. In Rosice alone, there are living 5500 inhabitants.

Břeclav

District town of Břeclav is situated in South Moravia Region in valley meadow of Dyje-river. This town with 26000 inhabitants is an important railway junction distant 50 kms in southeastern direction of Brno. In surroundings of town you find Lednice-Valtice area and further munuments registered in a Survey of Worlds´ Heritage UNESCO.

Hustopeče

Hodonín

The town of Hodonín is situated along Morava-river, approx. 50 kms distant in southeastern direction of Brno. In this town, on a border between Moravia and Slovakia, live nearly 30000 inhabitants. The town was founded probably in 11th century by Břetislav I., and oi its further development shared the wife of Přemysl Ottakar II, Queen Constancia.

Ivančice

The town of Ivančice is a small town distant approx. 20 kms in southwestern direction of Brno. It is situated on a confluence of Jihlava, Oslava and Rokytná rivers in an altitude of 210 m of sea level. It is ranged to the oldest towns in Moravia.

Boskovice

The town of Boskovice is situated between so called „Boskovice Furrow“ and Drahany Highland in an altitude of 380 m of sea level, distant approx. 40 kms in northern direction of Brno. The town is surrounded by forests. Boskovice is placed in northern part of Moravian Karst with Sloup-Šošůvka caves and other localities of karst territory.

Brno

Brno is the second biggest town of Czech Republic. As an administrative centre of South Moravian Region, it is situated on confluence of Svratka and Svitava rivers. You find in Brno many forests. The town is an important centre of education and many historical monuments. First written notice is dated to 10th June 1091 in Kosma Chronicle.

Mikulov

The town of Mikulov is placed on southern state border with Austria ( 2 kms from border crossing distant) in Břeclav district, situated 50 kms of Brno and 70 kms of Vienna only. The town belongs to Carpathian abasement system.

Znojmo

The town of Znojmo is situated in South Moravia, in southwestern direction from Brno. It is placed on left bank of Dyje river. The town is famous with its production of conserved cucumbers and wine. Local climatic conditions as well as an altitude (289 m) are favourable for vine and of fruit in general. In the town there is also established ceramics industry.
