CZ, Ploskovice - A Castle: Baroque In The Czech Central Mountain - VIDEO

We are looking for the castle ticket office, but in front of the gates of Ploskovice castle, which looks like it, settled young Vietnamese. Without a doubt he occupied the best spot and to Czechs sells at high rate, what he bought cheaply. Tickets, thank God, not.

Unique basement garden

The ticket office we found in the castle building. If you want go to see interior, you will pay 90 crowns. But it is working day and everywhere is deserted, so it seems unnecessary to seek a group tour.

To the caste park covering, which covers an area of ​​eight hectares in the end we do not need tickets. The park is built to go into it as much sun. But you will not find there the court of honour or a grand entrance gate. The former masters followed the strict rules of the Central European landscape architecture.

It is not clear which face of the Baroque castle is the main one. From both sides of the entrance stands a fountain with fountain. Park conceals four terrace levels, which would have noticed but a layman, it acts as a natural terrain. In fact, hidden grotto ground (note editors: artificial cave or niche built in Renaissance and Baroque gardens) and wine cellars in parts of the arcade.

When the white is not white

The sun is hiding in some strange mist and cloudy sky always shines through in a very short time only, possibly to demonstrate the true state of affairs. Brazenly marched in hundreds of years old arcade, are taking short flights and watch each other shouting each other.

The history of this state today, the castle dates back to somewhere to the 12th century. Time, in which the Czechs tried to recover from six years of war, managed to make the most of the former Soviet Union as a liberator. Under pressure from the East, people stop to appreciate the cultural heritage of castles and estates, and became a national storage disorder. Also Ploskovice inhabited castle in the seven years of cattle. In the 60 years, then began to worry about lock state administration.
