Today, we undertake an excursion to small locality, situated in South Moravia Region, Břeclav district. This is an area, full of vineyards and people´s architecture, fields, hills and groves.

The second biggest town of the Czech Republic and the biggest Moravian metropolis at the same time, this is Brno. This town is, from times immemorial, a rivalry synonym with Prague, as far as their mentality or even their language (dialect) are concerned.

This cave is situated inside headland of Balcar Rock, close to subterranean flow of Lopač and Krasový brooks, in an altitude of 460 metres above sea level. Complicated many-storey cave system is furnished with rich stalactite decoration.

Punkva Caves got its name according to standing subterranean spaces of Punkva-river, between Macocha Abyss and Pustý (Punkva Žleb). The system of underground halls is placed in two levels (stages), situated in north direction from Brno, Moravian Karst, in an altitude of 355 metres above sea level.

The Liechtenstein Parentage, who built this dominion, was not afraid of making experiments. The castles, chateaux or other buildings of Moor style give us really an evident reason. So, complete Lednice-Valtice Area is registered in UNESCO Heritage Survey.

Hardly anybody would visit Moravský Krumlov Castle, if the building would not hide artistic treasury, admired by visitors not only from Czech Republic, but also from abroad. However, actual dilapidated exterior would not be attractive for nobody.

Pouzdřany steppe and oak-forest steppe Kolby belong to most popular nature reservations of South Moravia. This locality is placed in north-east direction from the community of Pouzdřany, with the extent of more than 180 ha.

Chateau Letovice is situated on headland above the town. It is quite extensive chateau with complex of buildings and garden. Since 2004, the area is in private ownership, and necessary reconstructions followed till 2009.
