River description:
The river takes their sources on slopes on Križné Hills in Velká Fatra Mountain Range. It flows mostly towards southeast and finally, in the town of Banska Bystrica mouths, from right side, into Hron river. River-basin area makes 170 square kilometres, and navigable section, from mouth of Starohorsky brook, is 7,5 kms long.
This is mountain small river, full of water (watery). However, its water is hardly polluted with industrial refuses. Near to Banská Bystrica, the river flows through area full of buildings, this causes difficulties during navigation.
