RECOMMANDATIONS FOR TOURISTS , SAFETY SITUATION

Although Romania is a European Union Member, it is quite difficult to make comparison with the other members. Safety situation there is not good for the time being. We recommend you therefore, not to take with cash money, keep your personal belongings, beware of pickpockets, do not park on deserted or non - illuminated parkings. On the other hand, the situation in mountains is rather better, more favourable.

We wish to draw your attention to great number of freely moving dogs, as in tows, as outsidein the country. Howeever, there are many events, when the digs could bite the tourists. When passing the territory of Romania, we do not recommend to park or asleep in vehicles on non-illuminated or unmarked parking places outside towns. It is not safe to change the money outside official exchange places or banks. It is also highly recommended not to take cash money with and draw attention to all personal belongings.
