Travelling
Owing to small extent of the island, the problems with inland flights do not come into question, so that we shall move „on the surface“ only.
Travelling by bus
Local bus nest is perfect and it is functioning without any big problems. You will wait for bus arrival for couple of minutes only, and thanks to small island´s extention, you can easily get to any place you wish.
Quick Public Transport (MRT)
Very modern MRT System offers the easiest , quickiest and most comfortable way of travelling around the town. You can buy, for instance, day-ticket and use arbitrary railway lines, passing in very short intervals of couple of minutes till midnight.
Travelling by taxi
In Singapore, let´s forget taxi services, as offered in Europe. The offer of taxi-cars is sufficient, all vehicles are clean, the drivers use always taxi-meters, and are very polite.
Another ways of public transport
If you are interested in rent a car, you can do it. But, owing to perfect and detailed public transport, it is useless. The bicycle belongs to another tarnsfer possibilities (you can rent it or buy it) or ferry transfer is possible to be used.
Necessary Documents
The citizens of European Union can travel to Singapore without entry visa, and they are permitted to stay there up to 30 days. So, the respective permit, issued by Immigration Authorities, are signed, in such case, as „Social Visit Pass“. Anyway, this permission does not entitle this person to seek for a job or ask for another profit activities in Singapore territory.
Upon arrival, you are obliged to fill in so called Disembarkaion/Embarkation Card. One part will be given to the Officer in moment of arrival, and the second part will be left at departure. This form involves, except standard data, concerning the passenger, also the length of stay and place of stay in Singapore.
Eventuel prolongation of a stay in Singapore, the passenger will be asked for Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA)

As a condition necessary for visa prolongation, it is a guarantee of Singapore citizen or Singapore company or ea paerson with permanent stay in Singapore. This application will be executed in the course of several days.
