Kranjska Gora is situated in the north-western part of Slovenia near the Austrian and Italian borders. This town is known mainly due to the winter sports center, where the FIS - World Cup in Alpine Skiing takes place every year.

Triglav National Park is one of the most popular spots in Slovenia. Its name comes after country's highest mountain which is located within the park. Tourists mostly take short trips or climb up the very mountain. It is strictly forbidden to take a one day trip up to Triglav's peak, staying over night is also forbidden (and only allowed in mountain cabins). The hike is very difficult. You can take it from different directions though.

Logar valley is a beautiful valley in the north of Slovenia. A 6 kilometer long path goes through the valley and ends at the rock of limestone massif. It costs 7 euro to enter the Logar Valley if you travel by car. The entrance gate is situated 4 kilometers northwest from the town of Solcava.
