Backflip - freestylist´s duty
At first, a little of theory:
If you master backflip to the water, you have learned a half of the whole lecture, if not, do
not worry, it is not too complicated as it seems. Provided you do not wish to do your training in a reservoir, try to find suitable deep powder snow, where you do not suffer from your unsuccessfull experiments. First, we have to think over, what to do. So, would you enter to a jump and twitch up and back, try with your ski to copy the rebound and give this movement so much energy, in order not to be stopped in the middle of your rotation. If you need, your rotation would be speeded up, draw your legs to the chest, provided you need to slow down, stretch your legs. You swing as if would be around your head, imagine, that you have a pole going through your head and ears and you rotate. Anyway, there is necessary to concentrate fully, as, provided you are not concentrated, you are frightened and drag down your ski aside, so the result will not be good.
Backflip has an advantage: you see downtairs where you are falling down. So, if your point of incidence will be near to you, draw your legs, in order not to stumer over your toe-tips. On the other hand, provided you found too far, „unwrap“ yourselves, stretch your legs and wait for landing. However, there is a problem with rotation speed, anyway, it is valid: the lower flip (jump), the quicker rotation. Backflipping can be made always and everywhere – on big air, during freeride, etc.
Successively, you can add to flip further rotations (for instance: around longitudinal axis), we let you know later.
