Indonesia XII: Expedition 2011 - Last Relaxing Day By The Sea And Flight Home
The way to the Indian Ocean
The next day we spent on our coast. By bus we went to the resort Collection, which was a shopping centre consisting of a number of small shops by the sea, located about 5 km from our hotel. Surprisingly, there was a sea of much nicer. When we went inside, felt like in an aquarium full of fish. And the resorts there were excellent too. Behind the cape should be Indian Ocean with its surf and surfers. I thought it was pretty close, so I borrowed a bike and I headed up the coast. Far, however, I did not get, I had to walk away from the sea. I continued down the sidewalk along the way, but even when it was finished, I gave it up. Threading a bicycle on the road full normal traffic I had the courage. And so I unfortunately did not see the Indian Ocean.
In the evening we returned to our hotel on foot along the coast. It started urban beaches full of screaming and antics of local children, continued by walk thru resorts, till we got to our hotel. Finally we again gave an excellent dinner, during which we learned from the waiter that we are saving over a year, and then we go on holiday to Bali but it is not. Bali people save money to spend on family celebrations.
Day of departure
And here it is - the end of our expedition. We had a final breakfast, massages, Jarka 1 painted her nail with flowers, we spent the last hundreds of local currency, we packed up, said goodbye and flew to Bali. And we flew and flew, across the Indian Ocean and India, after waiting at the airport in Singapore and then in Doha (Qatar) and from the window looking at the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula with his Emirates. Sometimes we eat and occasionally we got a little whiskey or wine over Kuwait and we are about half an hour with the plane rattled along the road as the third class (probably the turbulence) and we flew over Iraq and its capital city, and we passed through the Black Sea and the Danube and through Dracula and his castle in the Carpathians and over Győr, and a bit despite Austria, until we landed in Vienna.
On the way to Bratislava us for not being overtaken scooters, no one did TUT even TUTU, on the way were not any shops, there million people didn’t stand, no one we did not want to sell anything, nobody is smiling at us, we were home, we were back in our dying old good Europe.
