SR: Bratislava - Escape To The Countryside
Published: 3.5.2012
Spring is in full blow, everything around starts to be green, and also people living in the capital are increasingly leaving their homes, rather run away from the office, or instead of very long wandering in the shopping centres, which often visited and so unnecessarily, seek refuge in awakening nature.
The last days have brought a record really hot weather, so it is no wonder that most people over the weekend at least trying to escape from the brick streets of Bratislava somewhere in nature. Today we present along at least a couple of places that offer both active relaxation in nature, but also the opportunity to sit with friends over a glass of beer in the middle of the forest, but still, not far from the city centre, in walking distance from stops of public transport.
Železná Studienka - a paradise for families with children
Just to jump from the final stop of trolleybus No. 212 (Military Hospital stop) in Bratislava surrounding park area is filled with great sports and playgrounds, the summer amphitheater renewed interest in which is really a large cafeteria with a terrace. If you prefer, or prefer grilling barbecue with family and friends, so here you are in the right place. Outbreaks, the public is really numerous. Leisure complex in Partizánska field is also the starting point of several marked hiking trails and nature trails. If you go for a walk in the direction of the Rotunda, on the left side you will pass several ponds. On the Pond Meadow guerrilla are ready for the public boats that their romance will surely entice. In addition, you walk past the eighth interestingly renovated water mill on the river Vydrici, known as Klepac, which today is bar. In the past, such mills became much more, thank God, that they managed to save at least this one. If you have enough free time, you should definitely end the trip at the Rotunda. In addition to buffets, here you can admire the goats in a wooden fence.
Chairlift – as the time stopped there
However, we recommend to go further toward renewed chairlift, which you can feel the history. If you want to walk on foot, to the valley station of the chairlift conveniently pay bus number 43. But I think that a nice walk and easily manage your kids, so it is better to let them really let loose in the park and in the evening you can enjoy a nice romance with your partner, because children certainly from exhaustion immediately fall into bed.
By chairlift you can go to the top of Kamzík. In addition to the television tower, which houses a cafe and restaurant, and from which emerges a really breathtaking view of the surroundings, there is also some cafeterias. I must say I like pancakes better in the oldest style of the top car park I've ever eaten. Relaxing location in Bratislava Koliba the majestic TV tower Chamois directly on the training field, offers other surprises. You can find such as bobsleigh, which is really great fun not only for children but for adults who would like to exclude, or adrenaline rope park. A pleasant walk through the forest down the hill, so quite effortlessly, with about half an hour to get to the final stop (stop shed) trolleybus number 203, which will take you to the city centre. This interesting escape into the countryside that surrounds the capital city, of course, you can pass in the opposite order. They can be lazier in Iron fountain or Koliba conveniently pay your own car. But he will miss the possibility to get a good frosted beer or cooler during warm spring evenings to a good home mulled wine.
