San Juan is a capital of Puerto Rico Island forming a part of USA. The town is a historical port at north island coast at Atlantic Ocean, founded by Spanish colonists, under leadership of Juan Ponce de Leon in 1508.
At present, approx. 400 000 inhabitants are living there, and the whole metropolitan area is inhabitated with two millions of persons. In San Juan, you can firnd modern port, Luis Munoz Marino International Airport.
Since 2005, Tren Urbano - 17,5 km long underground system, with 16 stations, was set into operation.
