The citizens of European Union, travelling to Barbados, do not need entry visa, up to 28 days of their stay there. Nevertheless, we wish to recommend you to check, before you leave, if the conditions for entry and stay did not changed in the meantime, as the respective administrative offices could not inform public in time. The respective information, regarding entry and stay condtions, including visa regulations, are entitled to be presentedby means of respective organs of the State of Barbados.
If your stay in the island will be longer than 28 days, you are obliged to ask for the entry visa. You need to fill in the respective application form, present a passport (valid for six months at least, when you leave the island), two photos of passport dimension, return flight-ticket and pay a fee amounting to USD 25. The holders of diplomatic passport ask for a visa by means official memorandum, present two photos of passport dimension and fill in the respective applicatiuon form. The visa will be granted to them free of charge.
As far as the respective busines contacts, (within scope of tourist trips), are concerned, no obstacles are made. Nevertheless, when you wish to seek the job, you are obliged to ask for permit of Chief Immigration Service for Foreigners.
When leaving the country, you have to pay so called departure tax (USD 12,50).
Caution: yellow fewer is appearing in the island. The vaccination against this disease and the respective confirmation is obliged, provided the passenger is arriving from the following countries, such as: Bolivia, Brasil, French Guyana, Columbia, Panama, Peru, Surinam and Venezuela. The vaccine, with efficacy period of ten years must be applicated at least ten days before entry to Barbados territory.
