Bird Land

The fauna of Slovakia is really extremely diverse and it is estimated that tens of thousands of species of animals live in forests, streams and areas, but also in fields, steppes, meadows or pastures, i.e. in the open countryside, which is constantly growing in Slovakia. This also fully applies to individual bird species. Areas of rocks or alpine meadows must be added to them, because in the alpine environment several birds of prey nest, which adorn this attractive natural environment.

In the introduction to the publication, the author professes his relationship to the bird kingdom, which they accompany throughout their lives, make him happy and cause peace of mind and soul. During the author's 50-year active life in bird watching, he went through Slovakia many times and decided that there is perhaps not a small place in this landscape and its beautiful nature, where he would not discover at least one bird species.
