Published: 18.4.2024
In my opinion, the region of Křivoklát is one of the most beautiful corners of our country. However, by far it doesn't consist only of Křivoklát Castle itself, but a large portion of its charm makes the local deciduous forests, the Berounka Valley and the landmarks that the area hides. One of the places worth visiting is the village of Nižbor thanks to the castle and its surroundings. Let's go to it together.

CZ: Holasovice – A Magical Village
Published: 11.4.2024
South Bohemia is a popular and beautiful region. Cesky Krumlov is one of the most popular sites here. Yet every other village is just like it was taken from some fairy tale. A village square with gables is sort of a prototype of a classic Czech village. When you have a pond on the square then you can easily expect to see a water goblin making shoes out of willow. Holasovice is one such village. In 1998 it became a UNESCO site.

Published: 2.4.2024
The Broumov region is not one of the places where beautiful monuments can be seen. The Adrspasske rocks nearby are very popular among tourists, where in free days and in good weather are overcrowded. Broumov itself is views as the city at the end of the world.. Already in the charter of of 1213, the area is characterized as a "terrible landscape in the open wilderness" and I believe that some would describe it similarly today.
