Upon visiting Spilberk castle which the main sight in Brno we returned through Spilberk park back in Husova street. Opposite to the park there is a building of the Moravian Gallery, the second largest art museum in the Czech Republic.

Through various of paths which are lined with broadleaved trees we reached Spilberk’s entrance gate. The castle is one of Brno’s most precious sights. It has stood on a hill of the same name since 13th century.

Once we saw all that is around the tower we moved inside. We also took a glimpse at 10 huge sculptures of crawling babies (so-called Mimina Babies). These were fixed on the tower in the year 2000.

We concluded our walk in Adamov at a restaurant. Then we set off to Josefovske Valley in the lower reaches of Krtinsky Stream about 3 kilometers away. There is a conservation area where one can learn on recent history of the territory
