A ruin of Bezděz Castle is situated in very nice countryside, in southeastern direction of Mácha Lake. Bezděz belongs to most known and popular castles of Czech Republic.

Nové Město na Moravě

The town of Nové Město na Moravě was established approx. in 1250 by Boček of Obřany, founder of Cisterciac Monastery in Žďár nad Sázavou. First written notice comes of 1267. At this time, the originally community named Bočkanov. Anyway, we find the name Nova Civitas on a document of King Wenceslas I in 1293.

Úpice

The town of Úpice is situated on a confluence of Úpa and Radečka rivers. However, it is not known when exactly there was created the original community. This community was placed on strategic important place, protecting merchant way, so called Kladsko merchant route.

Rosice

The town of Rosice was in 15th century a servitude town, later a small town and in 1907 declared as a town by Emperor Franz Joseph I., and an escutcheon was granted. In past, Rosice was a mining town, in its surroundings live more than 30000 inhabitants. In Rosice alone, there are living 5500 inhabitants.

Vodňany

The town of Vodňany is is a place joined with water, especially with ponds. It is situated in South Bohemia Region, between town of České Budějovice and Strakonice. Former King´s town Vodňany received its name of water, surrounding it from all parts. The town is mentioned medioeval Latin texts, thanks to its position and magic, as Aquileja Bohemorum (Venice of Bohemia).

Cheb

First written notice comes of 1061. In 1167, Cheb region was in ownership of Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa. Growing power of this Emperor was manifested by constructions of magnificent Emperor's seats, known as „Pfalz“.
