Lužické hory

Lužické Mountains are small, a little forgotten mountain range in north of Bohemian basin. Its height is not enormous, there are no ski resorts, but these mountains are very interesting in summer, in spring as well as in autumn are full of various colours.

Břeclav

District town of Břeclav is situated in South Moravia Region in valley meadow of Dyje-river. This town with 26000 inhabitants is an important railway junction distant 50 kms in southeastern direction of Brno. In surroundings of town you find Lednice-Valtice area and further munuments registered in a Survey of Worlds´ Heritage UNESCO.

Krušné hory

Hvězda chalet (Star chalet)

Hvězda Chalet (Star Chalet) is situated on range of Broumov Walls, in an altitude of 674 m above sea level. As far as the excursions to Hvězda is concerned, we can read it in Jirásek Memories, also a painter Adolf Kašpar worked here. You can reach the chalet, walking a road from village of Hlavňov or on foot via rocks and Kovářova Rokle (Smith´s Ravine). This walk is 1,5 kms long.

Chomutov

The town of Chomutov is situated in Northwestern part of Bohemia. In 2006, it was declared as a status town (with more than 50000 inhabitants) and belongs to the biggest towns of Czech Republic. It is placed on an important crossing of railway as well as road communications. First written notice comes of 1252, this small town was given to German Knights´ Order.

Česká Lípa

The original community was situated outer bailey of water castle Lipý. As a town, it was created in second half of 13th century. First written notice comes of 1337 in old documents. The town was placed on important merchant road, thanks to this fact, the handicraft started to develop.

New town hall

When the Emperor Charles IV founded New Town Quarter in 1348, the history of local Town Hall started. This Town Hall became – in the course in history – a witness of several important events. In 1419, there was here a scene of so called first Prague defenestration (window throwing out), which caused Hussite Revolution, in 1483 followed the second Prague defenestration.

Uherský Brod

The original community Ford-Watering place was in 10th and 11th century an important border fortress between Moravia and State of Hungary. Successively, the community started to change, thanks to its position, to an important economy centre and its building began to enlarge.

Písek

The town of Písek (with nearly of 30000 inhabitants) is situated in South Bohemia Region . Písek was founded in middle of 13th century along banks of Otava-river. The town developped quickly, thanks to trade and gold mining. Today, Písek is a cultural, tourist as well as sports centre.

Hustopeče

The town of Hustopeče is situated in South Moravia Region and belongs to oldest towns of this area. First written notices about a town (with 6000 inhabitants) come of first half of 13th century.
