Frýdlant

The town of Frýdlant is to be found at the edge of Jizerské hory in a headland of Frýdlant in an altitude of 295 m. The river Smědá is flowing through the town. According to the legend the town gained its name thanks one man, who obtained seven acres of field for his sons. The man named this place as Viederland, what means in German „protect the land“.

Horažďovice

The town of Horažďovice is situated between Strakonice and Klatovy in an altitude of 427 m, 15 kms distant in northeastern direction of Sušice. The town flows the river of Otava. Historical centre was declared as town´s monumental zone.

Prague - names of streets

Since 1920 untill 1947 Prague was administratively divided into 19 urban districts marked with figures I-XIX. In 1949 the capital was divided again into 16 administrative districts – Prague 1 – 16. In 1960, 1968 and finally in 1974 Prague was enlarged of further 55 communities. In 1960 Prague was re-divided again into 10 urban districts.

Virgin forest of Boubín

Virgin forest of Boubín (920-1110 m) is the second oldest national nature reservation of Czech Repuiblic, formed mostly by pine-tree crops. Moreover, you can find here also fir-woods, elms and maples-sycamore.

Děčín

Děčín is most lower placed town in the Czech Republic , its altitude is 135 m, not far from the German border and 25 kms from Ústí nad Labem distant. It is a centre of National Park České Švýcarsko (Czech Switzerland).

From Roudnice to Budyně

We find here the ways interesting not only by surrounding nature, but also by the histotry passed this area. The countryside near the town of Roudnice belongs to those most oldest from the historical point of view.

Domažlice

The town of Domažlice is distant approx. 53 kms in south-west direction of Pilsen, situated not far from the German border. Its German name is Taus. Through the town flows the river Zubřina. The city centre was declared as the town preserved reservation. Domažlice is situated in an altitude of 428 m.

Pecka Castle

Pecka Castle is situated near to the community of Pecka in Hradec Králové Region. It is known as a Pearl of Podkrkonoší. It is surrounded by marvelous nature interesting for cyclists as well as for tourists.

Lenora - Nová Pec - Watterman's travelling

Bruntál

The town of Bruntál was established in 1213 by Margrave Vladislav Henry. Till that time-period North Moravia was not practically colonized and Jeseníky Mountains offered its wealth in form of precious metals. Thanks to this fact, the town got rich and since town´s foundation, Bruntal´s citizens had a miner in its escutcheon.
