This Friday we are headed to another famous French resort. This time on the French Riviera. The region is rich on sunny days and sand beaches. However, this place is not just beaches, swimming or celebrities frequenting this place. Yet tourism is only a part of what supports its economy – local economy also thrives from flower production (mostly roses and carnations). There are many interesting sights in the city and around to explore. Today, we are going to take a closer look.

We remain in the beautiful Normandy even today. Rouen is an amazing town. Walking down its narrow medieval streets is like traveling back in time. You can feel its rich and long history everywhere. Especially numerous are sacral structures most of which are the best examples of Gothic architecture. If you know at least some bits of France in the Middle-Ages then you perhaps know that Joan d’Arc was trialed and executed here.

When you walk in the historic center notice street art. Unlike other cities, it is without any political message which makes it rather pleasant and merry. Don't be surprised to see a panda drawing two revolwers, or half of a bicycle in a wall.

It would be a pitty to leave Nantes after a short visit last time. This time we are going there to get to know the city little bit better. It is worth it.
