France, Paris XXXII: Love Lock Bridge

After a nice walk in the Tuileries Garden we continued to Louver we wanted to see so much. It was supposed to be a conclusion of our tour in Paris. Yet before we got to Louvre we went to the Seine to see the bridge that is a symbol of love, wishes, and friendship.

Last week we saw Vendôme square and moved to Rivoli street. Right there are many important buildings we took look at in the first days of our tour de Paris. This time we chose to see a street opposite to Rivoli as the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries is located over there.

After a magical walk near luxurious boutiques on Royale street, or admiring historical buildings on La Madeleine and Garnier Opera. Last part in our series, we visited the Lafayette gallery. We wandered about in pompous spaces for people who like to shop. We saw Paris from above and walked to see another landmark in the city.

On the crossroad in front of the La Madeleine church, we decided to go in direction to Garnier Opera. Soon we were waiting in front of the neo-Baroque building. It is the largest theater in the world as it has unbelievable 11 000 m2.

We continue in our tour de Paris even today. Last time we saw Place de la Concorde. From there we walked along Royale street to the church La Madeleine. Somewhere in the middle of the street we encountered Maxim’s restaurant.

After stopping at magnificent Grand and Petit Palaises we continued to Champs-Élysées boulevard. We continued to Louvre. Soon we got to monumental Place de la Concorde square, or Guillotines square as it is referred to by locals.

After paying our visit to the Les Invalides, we walked along green lanes to Grand Palais and Petit Palais. Before we even got there, we passed beautiful bridge across the Seine named after Tzar Alexander III.

Following an exciting walk on Montaigne Street and seeing the Flame of Liberty, we moved along the Seine to see another remarkable sight of Paris .- Les Invalides. This complex of building hides a large part of French military history.

Amazed with a walk along Champs-Elysées we decided to explore its surroundings. We saw Montaigne Street. Legendary comics figure Tintin watched us behind a fence, and there was a number of luxurious boutiques bit further.

After our visit to the second most famous sight in Paris, Arc de Triomphe, we get off the tunnel in the start of the most famous boulevard in Paris, the symbol of prestige, fame, and luxury.
