Today we take a look at Isfahan the former capital of Persia. It is located at the crossroad of important trade routes. This once wealthy city saw greatest glory during the 16th and 17th century. Then most of the buildings which you can see today were built. Couple of international flights from Arabic countries and Turkey fly there. Otherwise you can get here by train or bus Teheran. I have seen a lot – huge Buddha statues on Sri Lanka, beautiful temples in Thailand and Laos, monumental medieval cathedrals across Europe… But Iran is just breathtaking. We start our journey in the former capital located in the center of the country.
Iran is still largely an unknown place to many travelers. People who have been there usually agree the country is very hospitable and safe. So, lets take a look at the city that would just suck you in and won’t let go.
Last time we didn’t mention one place worth travelling to. The Alborz mountain range raises next to the city. The most popular mountain there is Tochal which lures people of the city to spend free time there and rest from the noisy big city life.
