Your excursion could be started in the town of Sillian in East Tirol, only a couple of kilometres distant from sources of Drau-river. Via Pustertal Valley, you drive up to the town of Lienz, capital of East Tirol, with ancient arcade houses and old square. Your route leads through „ Carinthia Gate“ along nature roads, into a valley of upper flow of Drau. After Sachsenburg Pass, the Drau Valley is opening fully, and the town of Spittal appears in front of you. In Porcia Chateau, one of most beautiful local buildings, there is organized Comedy Festival each year. Your route along Drau river leads towards Paternion Castle and continues up to the town of Villach. You leave your bicycle somewhere on parking place and you could organize small excursion by a ship Landskron on Drau-river.
Further, you continue your drive, along Drau river, up to Rosental Valley. In the town of Ferlach, you have the chance to visit near abyss of Tscheppaschlucht. In the town of Stein, your route continues towards popular Klopeiner Lake, where you have the possibility to have a bath. Further, you drive bvia Neudstein to big dam in Volkermarkt. The route leads you further via Jauntal Valley up to the town of Lavamund.

Character: the route has middle stage of difficulty, suitable for all types of bicycles, except race ones.
